ONE WORLD = GAPCU

The Global Association of Private Colleges and Universities is an exclusive, worldwide accreditation association of alternative secondary education institutions, vocational schools, and distance learning communities devoted to the promotion, maintenance, and active improvement of highly merited, private educational facilities throughout the world.

Accreditation by GAPCU of a university, college, or programmatic credential within a specialized discipline represents an acceptance of and adherence to the highest standards of effective academic methods and practices that private education can offer. An impartial system of self-evaluation, peer review, and curriculum management guidance assures performance standards that are consistent with each school's unique objectives, as well as GAPCU accreditation requirements.

In addition to its function as an accreditation agency, the GAPCU provides access to a variety of resource materials and development programs for both faculty and administration. GAPCU's rapidly growing interGlobal membership has also opened many new sources of information, training, and networking for its constituents, and has increased awareness of many practical advancements and perspectives in teaching and management methodology. Mentor groups, research publications, survey projects in the field of education, as well as annual conventions and peer seminars are some of the invaluable services which our members utilize, participate in, and contribute to through GAPCU's extensive interGlobal network of counterpart associations and private educational organizations.
